MacKenzie Mercurio (b. 1994, Houston, Texas) is an internationally exhibited and published photographer. She left Texas for one lifetime (a decade) for a medieval village of 400 residents in Provence, France. During her time in France, MacKenzie worked on creating and preserving a new identity and memories through wood transfers of her original images. She specializes in portraiture (previously working with musicians) and landscapes. Recently, she has moved back to the United States, settling in Colorado, where she is working on archiving her France years to be shared in an exhibition or a book. MacKenzie was previously the Director of La Mob gallery at the Dora Maar House residency program in Ménerbes, France.
